This is a pretty trail that runs along side the scenic river. It is a relatively flat and wide lime gravel path of around 9 miles from end to end. There is some construction to extend the southern end to the fishery loop, and portions of the northern end are closed right now due to a multi-municipality sewer line upgrade project. There is a street by-pass for this northern section. LAMBA is also working on a project to install a singeltrack alongside the trail for the user who likes narrow dirt. Stay tuned...
It starts near the Prairie Park Fishery and follows alongside the river north to the Indian Creek Nature Center.
